Cervical cancer poses a significant threat to women worldwide, especially in low-income countries where access to healthcare services is limited. In 2022, there were 660,000 cases of cervical cancer globally, resulting in 350,000 deaths. In the United States alone, 14,100 new cases and 4,100 deaths were reported.
AI Doc-Mobile Colposcopy is designed to address this issue by combining smartphone and AI technology to provide fast and affordable cervical cancer diagnoses. In 2022, in collaboration with the UN, the technology was deployed in Bolivia, screening 25,585 women, enabling timely treatment for over 10,000 women.
This technology is now being expanded globally to help women detect and treat cancer early.
